01. The Challenge & Solution
The client approached me with a significant challenge: their existing free website was not indexing on Google and lacked dynamic functionality. They wanted a professional, dynamic design that could meet their needs while ensuring all their service-related posts were live and accessible.
To address this, I designed a modern and responsive website using WordPress CMS with a premium theme. While the foundation was built on a pre-designed theme, I implemented custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to tailor specific functionalities and meet the client’s exact requirements. The website now features 22 dedicated service pages, each designed to highlight the client’s offerings effectively.
The results were outstanding! The client was thrilled with the outcome as all their service pages are now live on Google, and any updates or posts they make are indexed seamlessly. Customers visiting the site can easily navigate, book services, and schedule appointments. Additionally, the website’s performance was optimised, achieving a mobile speed score of 89% and a desktop speed score of 96%, ensuring a fast and smooth user experience without any frustration.
02. Working Process
The client initially informed me that they had a previous website connected to another platform, which prevented them from showcasing their services properly. After analysing the client’s requirements, I advised them to purchase a domain and hosting from providers like Namecheap, GoDaddy, Hostinger, or SiteGround. Once the hosting was purchased, I prepared to design the website using WordPress.
During the design phase, I provided the client with six different design options. The client selected one premium theme and purchased it for the project. I uploaded the theme and began building the website using WordPress. I utilised Elementor and other necessary plugins to create a fully functional website.
To ensure the best outcome, I maintained daily communication with the client via WhatsApp. We discussed the progress and exchanged feedback regularly, which helped improve the quality of the work. The entire project took nine days to complete as the client required some custom designs, which took extra time.
Before delivery, I conducted a complete audit of the website, identifying and resolving minor design issues. Additionally, I optimised the website for SEO by creating a robots.txt file, generating a sitemap, and submitting the site to Google Search Console. After making the website live on Google, the client was extremely satisfied and began using it effectively for their services.
